Why no404

Don't leave your 404s to chance

Every broken address is a visitor, and often a click you paid for. no404 makes them visible, moves them to the closest valid page, and leaves the decision to you.

You see your 404s before anyone else

The dashboard shows who hit a broken address, where they came from and which page sent them. The 404s that still receive Google traffic sit in their own list, so you don't have to guess which ones are worth fixing.

Paid clicks shouldn't land on nothing

A click on an ad pointing to a deleted product costs money and ends in a 404. no404 counts ad-sourced 404s separately, shows what they cost once you enter your cost per click, and moves the visitor to the page that replaces the product.

Stop maintaining a redirect list

Your catalog is read from your sitemap and refreshed regularly. When you add a product or an address changes you don't write a rule; matching always runs against how your site looks today.

A real 301, not a soft 404

The ready-made plugins and packages redirect on the server: search engines see a genuine 301 and carry the old address's value to the new one. Unlike sending every 404 to the homepage, this doesn't cost you pages in the index.

You set the threshold

You decide how similar an address has to be before it's worth redirecting, and where the line for a permanent (301) redirect sits. Using a 302 in the range you're unsure about beats making a wrong redirect permanent; the settings screen shows live examples of what your choice does.

Your site never depends on no404

If the call doesn't answer within 1.5 seconds the integration gives up and your page serves its own 404. The ready-made packages cache per path. Even if no404 is completely unreachable, your visitor never sees a blank page.

Ready for your platform

There are packages for WordPress, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Laravel and Node.js that install in minutes and start working as soon as you paste your key. For anything else there's a REST endpoint and a snippet that runs on any site.

Minimal visitor data

Raw IP addresses are not stored — they're truncated to the network and hashed irreversibly. Ad click identifiers aren't kept, only their category. With server-side integrations the full IP never leaves your server.
